NHS 365

Modernizing X.

A blueprint for an AI platform that unites third-sector organizations and government agencies to deliver an instantaneous “No Wrong Door” conversational interface.

Service Design Blueprint for Conversational Ai Services

The goal of Care Connect is a ‘No Wrong Door‘ design, a coordinated system where all service providers—hospitals, clinics, schools, law enforcement, or community organizations—act as entry points to a network of care.

Care Chat Agent

A No Wrong Door Chatbot refers to an AI-powered conversational system designed to connect users with the appropriate support services regardless of where they initially access the system.

Central Data Hub

A "single version of the truth" is the foundation for Ai-powered social service transformation, unifying information from across multiple agencies into an intelligent chatbot interface.

The service seeks to maximize the potential of ‘Ai for Social Good‘, utilizing super powerful AI technologies to transform social service delivery and enhance inclusion. For example AI chatbots can also act as Loneliness Companions.

NHS 365

Best Practices Solutions Guide

The National Health Service (NHS) stands at a pivotal moment in its digital transformation journey.

With an estate of over 1.3 million staff, thousands of organisations, and one of the largest and most complex technology landscapes in the public sector, the successful adoption of modern cloud productivity and collaboration tools has never been more critical.

NHS 365 defines a best practices blueprint designed to accelerate the safe, effective, and equitable adoption of Microsoft 365 tools across this estate:

M365 Adoption Maturity Model for NHS Trusts

Trusts need a clear roadmap to benchmark their current state and plan their journey. This 5-level maturity model provides that roadmap. It shifts the focus from "what technology have we deployed?" to "how are our people working?"

Maximizing Feature Functionality

The N365 license provides a superior, integrated, and cost-effective solution for common healthcare workflow scenarios. The "Virtual Visits" application combines Microsoft Bookings with Teams. This provides a secure, end-to-end platform for scheduling, managing, and conducting remote consultations.

AI Powered Productivity

A pilot in 2023 found that Copilot could save "on average 43 minutes per staff member per day". Extrapolated across the NHS, this "could save up to 400,000 hours of staff time per month, time that can be refocused on frontline care.

This report distils lessons learned from early-adopter trusts, the NHS 365 national team, Microsoft public-sector engagements, and comparable health systems worldwide, to provide practical, evidence-based guidance.

Care Connect AI

A Blueprint for AI-Powered Unified Health and Social Care

A blueprint for "Care Connect AI" (CC-AI) addresses the deep fragmentation within health and social care systems, a problem that creates significant barriers for vulnerable citizens like the elderly and impoverished.

Currently, individuals must navigate a maze of disconnected services, repeatedly sharing sensitive information, which is both inefficient and dehumanizing. CC-AI seeks to address this through:

No Wrong Door Chatbot

The user-facing component: an intelligent chatbot that acts as a single front door to all services. Co-designed with vulnerable user groups to be accessible and inclusive, this 24/7 conversational agent can help navigate the system, manage appointments, provide personalized health information in plain language, and offer non-judgmental support.

A Federated Knowledge Base

Aggregating data from across the many different Government and Third Sector agencies who play a role in providing social care, and unifying this into a single knowledge base to power joined up digital services.

The Care Connect AI blueprint is more than a technological proposal; it is a fundamental redesign of the relationship between citizens and the services meant to support them.
